Exploring Christianity

A great way to explore Christianity is to meet with Christians.  If you come along to our 4pm Sunday meeting, you’ll see what being part of a church family looks like, and there’ll be lots of opportunities to listen and talk and ask questions.

Another brilliant way to find out more about the Christian faith is by attending the Christianity Explored course. CE is an informal and relaxed seven-week course for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life.  It's run by people from the church here, and is free.  You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing.  You can ask any questions you like, or you can just sit and listen. For more information or to sign up for the next course contact Tony Heywood here.

Many people have good questions they want to ask. Questions such as: Hasn't science shown that Christianity is wrong? Aren't all religions basically the same? You can't trust the Bible can you? If there is a God, why does he allow suffering? Isn't believing the resurrection ridiculous? Why are Christians so old-fashioned about sex? Isn't believing in the resurrection ridiculous?

For some helpful videos that give answers to these and many other common objections, see here.
